The campers at the derby seem to have the best time of all. They set up their campsites to entice visitors from around the area...and they seem to get a lot of attention.  Many suggest that we stop all trains that go through the area from 10 - 3 am and just a few hundred yards from their campers. But, other than the irritating sound of the train whistles and the tracks, they enjoy their spots usually reserving their site for the following year's festivities.
On the left, Tim (campsite chairman) and Gilligan (aka Jason Ste. Marie) who are very pleased with themselves at this photographic moment. We aren't sure why they are both so happy, but we leave 'em alone when they appear to be having a good time.
