Have a question?

Q. I would like to set up a food stand at the Arena during the Derby. How do I go about getting permission?

A. First of all, you will need to have approval from the Lions Club Committee and will have to meet with them prior to setting up at the Arena. Be sure and meet with the Committee at least 2 weeks prior to the Derby. Contact Alan Schlimmer at 509-677-5667 or Mike Doyle at 509-677-8846.
Your organization must be non-profit and from the local area (Lind, Ritzville, Washtucna).
An Adams County Health card is required.
Your stand must be self-contained, furnishing your own water, supplies, etc.
Set up and clean up is totally your responsibility.

Q:
Will the Adams County Historical Society Museum be open Derby weekend?
A: Please stop by and visit at the VanMarter building which will house the museum when renovation is completed. Museum members will be there at 10:00 a.m. until the BBQ at the park, then again about 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Adams County history books will also be available for sale.
